Instead of manually adding bank statements in PDF, check if your bank is on the list of banks with automatic integration: Bank Integration - list of banks
Thanks to this:
- You don't have to remember to add statements.
- Transactions are automatically transferred from the account to SaldeoSMART.
If you cannot use automatic integration with your bank, you can add a bank statement in PDF format to SaldeoSMART.
1. List of statements
The statements you will add to SaldeoSMART should meet several conditions:
✅ Statements must be in PDF format, downloaded directly from the banking system as an electronic document and concern one account number.
✅ Check if we read your bank statements List of supported banks
✅ Banks have many different formats of electronic statements. It is possible that some format has not been included in the system and will not be read.
✅ You will not read formats such as csv, xls, mt940 and statement scans.
✅ You will not be able to read collective statements (e.g. from multiple bank accounts in one file or multiple statements for the same account in one file).
✅ Check if the bank account from the statement is in the SaldoSMART account configuration
1.2 Adding a statement to SaldeoSMART
Assuming the conditions are met, you can add the following statement:
a) using the side menu +Add -> Bank statement
b) directly in the Statements -> Statement List section
First, select the period for which you want to add the PDF and you can select whether the statement should be read automatically:
The email adding mechanism does not work for bank statements.
In the notifications section, you will be informed about the statuses:
In the statement list you will have the following information available:
- statement number and its ID
- file name
- account number for which the reading was made
- related transactions - number of bank transactions read from the statement
- when and by which user the statement was added
- statement status
- in the actions column, you can download a PDF statement or delete it, which will be possible after deleting the transaction
2. List of transactions
After reading the statement, by clicking show in the Related Transactions column you can go directly to the list of read transactions.
🔷 The following information is available in the transaction list:
- payment date,
- description of payment,
- contractor - data will be presented if the contractor's data is in the contractor database in SaldeoSMART, otherwise it is possible to fill in the contractor's data manually,
- transaction type,
- sum,
- related document,
- amount after settlement,
- settlement status,
- settlement (possibility of manually adding settlement with documents and/or invoices)
🔷 Filters are available above the list of transactions with extended transaction search options, based on defined criteria. You can specify in advance whether the search concerns credits or debits:
🔷 If you have active integration with your bank, you will also be able to manually download transactions directly from your bank account
🔷 After selecting the transaction, the function becomes active
SaldeoSMART will start linking transactions to the most matching documents/invoices and the status will be available in the Settlement column .
🔷 Bulk Operations Edit
By clicking Edit above the list of transactions you will be able to collectively change the counterparty and the transaction type available from the drop-down list (Other, Transfer with counterparty, Transfer with intermediary, Transfer to ZUS, Transfer to US, Transfer with another entity, Card payment to counterparty, Other card payment, ATM withdrawal, Deposit in a cash deposit machine, Cash withdrawal, Cash deposit, Interest, Interest tax, Bank fees, Deposit, Loan repayment, VAT transfer, BLIK, Internal transaction)
🔷 Transactions read from your bank statement reduce your credit pool:
1 credit = 3 transactions
