What Determines a Client’s Permissions?
The permissions of an accounting office client in SaldeoSMART depend on:
-
The scope of functions to which the accounting office has granted access.
-
The use of SMARTduet functionality.
When setting up an account for a new client or editing existing permissions, the accounting office determines which modules and functionalities the client will have access to.
What Affects a Client’s Permissions?
1. Accounting Office Package
Depending on the SaldeoSMART package chosen by the accounting office, different system modules and functionalities are available. If the office’s package does not include a specific module, you (as the client) will not have access to it.
2. SMARTduet
If both the accounting office and you (as the client) have opted to use SMARTduet, you automatically receive permissions for modules and functions related to this feature.
3. Scope of the Accounting Office’s Services
Permissions may be linked to:
-
The services you pay for.
-
The form of cooperation with the accounting office.
If the office handles full-scope accounting services, your permissions may focus on:
-
Submitting documents.
-
Monitoring basic financial information.
Types of Service and Available Permissions
1. Standard Client Service by the Accounting Office
The client account administrator can check module access as follows:
-
Log in to SaldeoSMART.
-
Go to Settings → Account.
-
Navigate to User Settings → Access to modules.
There, you’ll see which modules the accounting office has granted you access to.
2. SMARTduet Client
If your accounting office and you have joined SMARTduet, the SMARTduet icon will appear in the top bar.
As a SMARTduet client, you automatically receive permissions for:
-
Invoices
-
Documents
-
Bank statements
-
Reading documents
-
Right to KSeF (National e-Invoicing System)
Important: Regardless of the service type (standard or SMARTduet), you (as the client) manage your employees’ permissions in SaldeoSMART. Your administrator can add users and assign them appropriate access levels.
