Adding a business partners (contractors)
You can add contractors to the database after logging into SaldeoSMART in two ways.
a) By clicking the business partners tab in the side menu on the homepage and navigating to the business partners.
Then, simply click the Add Business Partners button.
A form will appear where you can enter the contractor’s basic details, contact information, and payment/bank account details.
Fields marked with * are mandatory. You can fill them in manually or automatically.
By entering the Tax Identification Number (NIP), you can fetch the contractor’s data from the National Business Registry (GUS) or VIES (for foreign contractors) and check their VAT status.
If the contractor is a private individual without a NIP, leave this field blank.
Remember to save the entered data at the end. The added contractor will appear on the List of business partners.
You can edit or update their details at any time. Just click on the contractor’s abbreviated name to view their details for editing. Update the necessary information by clicking the pencil icon in the top-right corner, then save by clicking the checkmark.
If you enter the contractor’s email address in the contact details, you’ll be able to send them invoices issued in SaldeoSMART. Adding an additional email address allows you to send invoices to multiple recipients. The bank account number is required for generating payment batches.
If you forget to save changes and try to return to the Contractor List, a warning message will appear.
b) By clicking the Add button on the homepage
You will be redirected to the same editing form mentioned earlier.
Exporting to CSV
From the Document List, you can export contractors to a CSV file. To do this, select the desired contractors from the list and click Export to CSV.
An email will then be sent to you with a download link for the contractor list. Note that the link is active for 5 days. After this period, you’ll need to export the list again.
Deleting business partner
To remove a contractor from the list, click the trash bin icon next to the selected contractor.
Before finalizing the deletion, a confirmation window will appear.
There is no option to bulk-delete contractors. However, this can be done through a paid request to our customer service office.
