The purpose of this FAQ is to help you learn about the possibilities of purchasing credit packages on your own, which you can take advantage of thanks to the cooperation of your accounting office with us. You will find answers to the most frequently asked questions here.

General information about credits
What are credits?
Credits are a unit of account in the SaldeoSMART system, available within the selected package amount.
What can I use my credits for?
You can use your credits for:
- Reading (OCR) documents,
- Downloading transactions from the bank,
- Reading transactions from a PDF bank statement,
- Automatically connecting to a bank account,
- Downloading invoices from KSeF.
Do I sign an agreement to use credits?
There is no need to sign a separate agreement. Just use the trial version or purchase credits.

What is the difference between a package and a plan?
Package/Plan - a specific number of credits within a billing cycle.
Plan - a monthly or annual period of availability of a service after it has been paid for.
Where can I see how many credits I currently have to use?
The number of available credits is visible in the credit management panel
What features will I get as part of the package?
By using credits, you will gain access to the document archive and bank statements. This will allow, among other things, the automation of settlements - i.e. downloading transactions directly from the bank account and automatic linking of transactions with documents and invoices in SaldeoSMART.
Activation and management of credits
How to start using credits?
You can use paid services within smartduet if:
- the accounting office is in the cooperation program - after logging in to SaldeoSMART you see the SMARTduet icon
- the accounting office has an active and paid SaldeoSMART account,
- the accounting office has an account that allows you to use the functionalities available as part of the service,
- you place an order for a package of credits on your account.
What does the first purchase of credits look like?
When you join the accounting office to the Cooperation Program, you will see the SMARTduet tab in your account:
After clicking it, you will be redirected to the customer panel where you will be able to, among other things, familiarize yourself with the functions available thanks to credits, the regulations and will be able to use the Try SMARTduet option
After clicking Try SMARTduet you will be redirected to the panel where you can decide to choose one of the test, optimal or individual credit packages:
Define your needs - how does the slider work?
Set the number of invoices you want to automatically settle.
To adjust SaldeoSMART to your needs, move the slider and specify how many invoices you want to automatically settle per month.
If you issue invoices directly in SaldeoSMART, the system will automatically connect them to the appropriate bank transactions. You issue invoices in SaldeoSMART without additional fees.
If your invoices are issued outside of SaldeoSMART, provide the approximate number of invoices you want to add to the system per month. This will allow the system to better adapt to your needs.
What to do if I am short on credits?
If you are short on credits in the credit management panel, in the Your package section, select Buy credit package
and then, one of the two available purchasing paths: purchasing additional credits or a credit package for the new billing period.
If you want to increase the number of credits within the current package - click buy credits
If you decide to buy credits, the difference in credits between the packages will be topped up.
In this case, you will only pay the difference in price and the billing period will remain unchanged.

Does the credit package renew automatically?
No, the package validity period is consistent with the selected plan:
- monthly, which means that after 30 days, you have to re-purchase the selected package.
- annual, which means that after a year, you re-select another package.
Can I change the package to a smaller/larger one?
When you buy credits, you buy them for a given monthly or annual billing period. During a given billing period, you can upgrade to a higher subscription.
However, after the end of a given billing period, you can purchase credits for the next period to reduce or increase the selected package.
Can I test the use of credits for free? Yes, before you start using the paid services, you can use the trial version once.
Will it be possible to purchase credits from the mobile app?
We are planning to do so eventually.
How can I cancel the Package Service?
Simply do not buy a new package after the billing period has ended. You do not need to terminate the contract. Packages are not extended automatically. Failure to pay in the next billing period means that the service has ended. You can return to it at any time.

Settlement and access to information
When will I receive an invoice for the purchase of credits?
The invoice is issued within 3 business days from the date of payment and will appear in the panel at that time.
Where can I download an invoice for the purchase of a package of credits?
The invoice will be available in the credit management panel on the SaldeoSMART account and sent to the email address indicated in the order.
Where can I read instructions describing the functionalities for which I can use credits? Before joining the program, information about the functions available thanks to credits will appear.

In the credit management panel in the SaldeoSMART account:
What is the minimum pool of credits that can be purchased?
20 credits in the annual package, 20 credits are topped up every month for 12 months.
50 credits in the monthly package, one-time top-up of 50 credits.
Where can I find the price list?
The price list is available in the panel on the SaldeoSMART account
Will unused credits be kept on the account for the next month?
Unused credits do not carry over to the next month.
What happens if I do not pay for the next billing period?
You will lose the ability to use credits that you use for:
- Reading (OCR) documents,
- Downloading transactions from the bank,
- Reading transactions from a PDF bank statement,
- Automatic connection to a bank account,
- Downloading invoices from KSeF.

Additional questions
Why can't I see the SMARTduet icon after logging in to SaldeoSMART?
The SMARTduet icon may not be visible in two cases:
Your accounting office has not yet joined the cooperation program for accounting offices.
The accounting office is on a package that is not covered by the SMARTduet program.
Contact your office for information about SMARTduet.
If I want to switch to my Saldeo account, will the credits increase the pool of credits available in the package?
If you decide to switch to another Accounting Office that is in the program, the credits will transfer, if you buy your business account, you sign a separate agreement with the Operator, where in the business package the credits do not transfer.
Can I pay by card or Blik when buying additional credits?
It will be possible to make payments by card and Blik.
Is it possible to connect a credit card for payments?
We will work on connecting a credit card in the next stage of service automation.
Can I change the monthly package to an annual one during the billing period?
No, during the billing period, you cannot change the plan from monthly to annual. You must wait until the end of the period and then buy a new, annual or monthly one.
If I run out of credits, can I use the Accounting Office's credit pool?
You should contact your Accounting Office to have the Office provide a credit pool.
